Terms of Service

These terms are between you and AdaptoIT LLC ("we", "us"), and govern your use of AdaptoInbox. By creating an account or connecting a mailbox, you agree to them. If you do not, do not use the service.

If you are agreeing on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to bind that organisation.

AdaptoInbox connects to mailboxes you authorise and uses AI to categorise incoming email and take the actions your rules describe — moving, labelling, flagging or archiving messages, and maintaining a follow-up list.

The service acts on your mailbox on your behalf, automatically. That is the point of it, and it is worth understanding plainly before you connect an inbox.

AdaptoInbox is in beta. It is provided free of charge during this period. Features may change or be withdrawn, and interruptions are more likely than in a mature product.

We may introduce paid plans in future. If we do, we will tell you before your account is charged for anything, and you will be able to decline and stop using the service.

You are responsible for:

• Keeping your sign-in credentials secure
• The rules and categories you create, and what they instruct the service to do with your mail
• Making sure you are permitted to connect any mailbox you connect — particularly a work mailbox, where your employer's policies apply

One person, one account. Do not share access to your account with others.

Classification is performed by an AI model. It will sometimes be wrong. An email may be filed in an unexpected folder, flagged when it did not need to be, or not flagged when it did.

Actions are reversible in your mailbox — a moved email is moved, not deleted, and you can move it back. But you should not rely on AdaptoInbox as the only means by which you see an important message. Keep reading your inbox. Do not use this service as a substitute for your own attention to time-critical or legally significant mail.

Suggested replies are drafts for you to review. Nothing is ever sent on your behalf without you choosing to send it. The only email we send automatically is your own daily briefing, to you, and only if you enable it.

You may not:

• Connect a mailbox you are not authorised to access
• Use the service to process unlawful content, or to send unsolicited bulk email
• Attempt to break, overload, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorised access to the service or another user's data
• Use the service to build a competing product, or resell it without our written agreement

We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, or where we are required to by law.

Your email content is yours. We claim no ownership of it, and we use it only to operate the service for you. What we access, send to an AI model, store and delete is set out in full in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings.

The service depends on Google, Microsoft, and our hosting and AI providers. Your use of your mail provider remains governed by your agreement with them. We are not responsible for their availability, nor for changes they make to their APIs or terms that affect what the service can do.

We do not promise uninterrupted service. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of it. If we discontinue the service entirely, we will give reasonable notice so you can disconnect your mailboxes and export or delete your data.

The service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that classification will be accurate or that the service will be error-free.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AdaptoIT LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, lost business, or missed communications arising from your use of the service.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred US dollars. During the free beta, that amount is one hundred US dollars.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

You agree to indemnify AdaptoIT LLC against claims arising from your misuse of the service, your breach of these terms, or your connecting a mailbox you were not authorised to connect.

You may stop at any time by disconnecting your mailboxes and deleting your account. We may terminate an account for breach of these terms, or on reasonable notice if we discontinue the service. On termination your data is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. For material changes we will notify you in the product before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The courts of California have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
